Dan Crichton

Dan has served as senior pastor of Grace Bible Church since 2008.  Prior to this he served as a church-planting missionary in Rustenburg, South Africa, and on pastoral teams in Rhode Island and Johannesburg, South Africa.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Tennessee Temple University and a Master’s of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dan is married to Joy, and they have five children.  Dan enjoys spending time with his family, reading, renovation projects, cycling and being outdoors.  He is humbled and thrilled with the work of making disciples and shepherding the flock of God.

Peter Frageorgia

Peter has served as an elder of Grace Bible Church since 2017. Most of the work of being an elder consists of: planning the church activities and direction, coordination of the teaching ministry, visitation, consoling, discipline, and prayer. He has preached and taught Sunday school and Bible studies for many years. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Geology and has done computer programming since high school. He currently works at Dell/EMC as a software engineer.

Peter is married to Joyce, and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Peter enjoys his family, reading, hiking, swimming, gardening, traveling, and collecting rocks. By God’s grace he has been preserved in the faith and given the privilege of serving the church.

Deacon

John Yoakum serves as the deacon of hospitality at Grace Bible Church. This includes but is not limited to being over the greeting ministry, the nursery, and security. He also serves as a Sunday school teacher at GBC. He has served before in bus ministry and deaf ministry. John desires to serve the church well through the ministries he’s involved in to edify the people of God and to glory Him. He wants to help those that serve in the hospitality ministries to serve with joy through the sacrifice of their time and hard work.
 
John was born in Rhode Island but grew up in Kansas. He eventually moved back to Rhode Island in 1986. He has been married to his wife Kristine for 29 years, and they have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. He works as a gas instructor for National Grid. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and target shooting.
Zach Yoakum

Zachary Yoakum has been apart Grace Bible Church since 2008. He serves as deacon of member care. This includes notifying/emailing members with updates and prayer requests, setting up meal trains, and making sure all basic needs are met in the church. He also serves on the worship team. Zach hopes to advance the gospel in his neighborhood and desires to serve the body well with the help of the Lord.

Zach is married to Ashley and they have three boys. He works as a Cable Splicer for National Grid. Zach enjoys playing basketball, Christian rap, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Pastoral Intern

Evan is a life-long resident of Rhode Island and has been a pastoral intern since 2017. He has had numerous opportunities to preach and teach in the church under the discipleship of Pastor Dan since 2013 and has participated in several preaching seminars and church leadership trainings. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and Bible from Clearwater Christian College in Florida. He works full-time as a production associate at Organogenesis, making skin grafts.
 
Evan has been married to his wife Christelle since November 2017. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing basketball and video games, eating pizza, and spending time with friends and family. He is excited about opportunities to preach God’s Word and looks forward to furthering his studies in how to better counsel and minister to people from God’s Word in full-time ministry.

Dexley is a New England native, born in Connecticut and raised in Fall River, MA. Dexley has been at Grace Bible Church since January 2017 and serves as a pastoral intern at Grace, as well as one of the staff leaders of Christian Student Fellowship, an on-campus ministry at Rhode Island College. Prior to this, Dexley worked as a youth and children’s minister in Fall River.  He is currently working as a project manager and has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mass-Dartmouth. Dexley is currently working through his Masters of Divinity at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
 
Dexley is married to Brianna and enjoys reading, parkour, volleyball, meeting new people, and great conversations.  He is excited to continue laboring for the glory of God through preaching, teaching, and ministering to the students at RIC and the local church.
Ben Emberley

Ben has been a member of Grace since the summer of 2018 and started his pastoral internship in 2019. He received his BA in Biblical Studies from The Master’s University and is currently studying to get his MDiv from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Having grown up in southern New Hampshire and western Massachusetts, Ben has a love for New England and desires to be involved in Gospel ministry in the area where he grew up.

Ben has been married to his wife Beth since 2016, and they live with their daughter Leah (with another daughter on the way!). He enjoys reading, sports, board games, hiking, and playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate. He currently works at Enviroclean as a restoration technician.
